Refund and Returns Policy

At HackersList, we strive to ensure a seamless and satisfactory experience for all our users, including clients and service providers. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted and the processes involved.
1. General Refund Conditions
1.1. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to the conditions outlined in this policy.
1.2. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of project completion or cancellation.
1.3. HackersList reserves the right to refuse refunds if the terms of this policy are not met.
2. Refund Eligibility
2.1. For Clients:
- Refunds are granted if the service provider fails to deliver the agreed-upon work as per the project description.
- Refunds are considered if the work delivered does not meet agreed-upon quality standards or milestones.
- Refunds are not granted if the client changes their requirements after the project starts.
2.2. For Service Providers:
- Payments held in escrow are refundable to service providers if the client fails to provide required details or communication to proceed with the project.
- Refunds to service providers apply if the client cancels the project without valid reasons after the provider has started work.
3. Escrow Refunds
3.1. Payments are held in escrow until the client approves the service provider’s work.
3.2. If a dispute arises, HackersList’s support team will mediate and decide on the release of escrow funds based on evidence provided by both parties.
3.3. Refunds from escrow are processed only if the dispute is resolved in favor of the requesting party.
4. Refund Request Process
4.1. To request a refund, users must:

- Provide detailed reasons for the refund request, including supporting documentation (e.g., project communications, delivered work samples).
4.2. HackersList’s support team will review the request and respond within 7 business days.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not applicable in the following scenarios:
- Services were successfully delivered as agreed in the project terms.
- Dissatisfaction based on subjective preferences after project approval.
- Violation of platform terms by the requesting user.
6. Chargebacks
6.1. Users are discouraged from initiating chargebacks through their payment provider without first contacting HackersList support.
6.2. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination.
7. Cancellation of Projects
7.1. Clients or service providers may cancel projects before work begins with no penalty.
7.2. If work has commenced, cancellation requests will be reviewed, and partial refunds may apply based on the work completed.
8. Processing Time for Refunds
8.1. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
8.2. Refunds may take additional time to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
